Art contest, Cam Ward, and I forgot something

Festival Art Contest
The Buck Creek Festival Committee is launching a competition for the 2012 Buck Creek Festival cover art. Entries will be accepted until 6:00 P.M. February 15, 2012. The winning art work will be used to design the posters, Tshirts, and other items to publicize the 11th Annual Buck Creek Festival at the Helena Amphitheater Park May 11 & 12, 2012. The winning artist will receive a check for $100. To the right you can see last year's design:

Cam Ward
Senator Cam Ward will be in Helena today at 7am to speak to the Helena Kiwanis. I will also get a chance to sit down and talk to him later that day about the upcoming legislative session.

Cheer Competitions:
Laura told me that the Helena Middle School Cheer Squad will be competing in 2 competitions at the BJCC. One is this Saturday and the 2nd is Feb 4th. Last year the girls brought home 1st place!

Indoor Racetrack
Britt from Warehouse Racetrack said they will be  open tomorrow for practice 1-5. Tuesday 4-8 and race saturday starts at 8 am.
