Help to Recover a Memory
Tracy Bynum, lives in Helena and last Sunday April 8th around 4pm she pulled into the Jet-Pep on Highway 52 to put air in her tires. She placed her wallet on the top of her car, and forget her wallet was on the car when she left...so now it is lost.  It contained her driver license, bankcard, cash but the most thing was a small handwritten note. Here are her own words:
I only care about a small handwritten note in that wallet. It was from my daughter. My daughter died in 2009 at the age of 18. Obviously the only tears I’ve shed in the past week are because I may never see that note again.
A lot of people see your website.  My hope is someone will see it and turn it in. My license is in there with my current address.Anyone who possibly has found it can contact me at tracybynum@gmail.com
She has already notified the police and Jet Pep but she needs your help to recover the memory. Let's help her find this.

Bada Boom
Everyone seems to love theses boom videos (well maybe not those living nearby). Paula was kind enough to be there to capture another one for us. I guess we will call this one "Shockwave".

Tennis Victories
The boys and girls middle school tennis teams finished up their seasons this afternoon with a win over Briarwood. The girls won their match 7 -2  and the boys won 6 – 3. The girls finished the season with an 8 – 1 record. The boys finished their season UNDEFEATED with an 9 -0 record!! Their longtime coach, Ken Vines, told me that this is the first time the boys have ever finished the season undefeated! Way to Go! Thanks to Tyler for sending me this update!

Helena has a new Eagle Scout. Congrats to  Dalton Sparks who is Troop Deuce's 16th scout to earn the Eagle Badge since their founding in 2008. Dalton's Eagle scout project was restoring the historic graveyard in Helena. This Weekend was his Eagle Court of Honor. Way to Go!

Cherokee Beach 50th

UPDATE: I just heard that the event was going to be rescheduled for later this year. So please pass that along to everyone who was planning on coming Saturday

I will post about this again on Friday but Cherokee Beach in Helena was a major tourist attraction back in the day (They even had a postcards). They are going to bring everyone back for for their 50th Anniv for one last big beach party. They have a DJ, food vendors and everything. So if you used to hang out there as a kid or you are curious to see it then it will be happening 10am-3pm on Saturday.

There is a flyer below. (Click on it to see the larger version). Their facebook page already has 800 members. You can join if you want. Here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/groups/367587815529/
