Canvass Results
The Helena City Council canvassed the Election results on Tuesday at noon. There are 3 ballots that are provisional but since no one won by 3 votes, then they wont really change the outcome. They read out the totals and this is what I wrote down. I pretty sure it is correct but if you need an accurate count then you can get that from City Hall. The votes were from three sources, the two ballot boxes at the election site and the absentee ballots that were filed.

Jack shared this link which shows the Alabama House districts created under the Mcclendon plan that includes most of Helena. Currently the 35080 zip code is split between district 43 Mary Sue McClurkin and District 49 April Weaver.
Amendment Vote
