Panthers go on the Attack! The Helena Panther 7th & 8th grade football teams both won big last night against the Calera Eagles. The 8th grade team finished the night 41-12 led by Riley Davis-QB with a great team win. The offensive & defensive lines were walls of steel allowing Nash Adams to score 2 touchdowns plus he had an interception on defense. Austin Davis also had 2 touchdowns, one of which was an 80 yard kick off return! John Brown, Jake Busby and Brett Walton also scored touchdowns for the team. Kade Jones had his own set of interceptions for our defense! Mason Kendrick topped off each TD by adding an extra point. Way to go Panthers!
The 7th Grade team beat Calera 42-6 last night with tough impressive play by their offensive and defensive lines. The defense had several tackles for loss of yards led by the big men up front! Lawson Peoples-QB threw a TD pass to Justin Stuckey plus Stuckey ran in 2 more for a total of 3 on the night! Adding to the touchdown collection was Dionte Tolbert with 2 and Kopeland Rosser with a touchdown and an interception on defense.
