According to the AL.Com
"The Alabama Department of Transportation has announced several road closures for early next week, including spots along I-65 in Fultondale and on Alabama 261 near Helena".
"The northbound lane of Alabama 261 from Old Town Helena to U.S. 31 in Shelby County will be closed Sunday night from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday. The closure, which will be repeated the following four nights, will allow paving operations, according to ALDOT".
I also confirmed it on the Department of Transportation website. So heads up if you drive down Helena Rd / 261 between 8pm-6am then expect delays.
UPDATE: I do not see any construction happening. The ADOT still shows it but I guess they have rescheduled it. I will let you know if they post anything
