Wildlife Management Area

Shooting Range Re-Opening
In an article by Stephen Dawkins the public shooting next to Helena  in the Wildlife Management Area will reopen May 2017. It was closed during the spill and used as a staging area. When it reopens it will have more to offer including walkways, shelters and 25, 50 and 100-yard range. The range was pretty bare bones before and the road to it wasnt the best so I hope they improve that as well.

You will still need to own a hunting/fishing license to enter the Wildlife area or buy a Wildlife Area pass: https://www.alabamainteractive.org/dcnr_license/generalInformation.action
