Flag Day

The City of Pelham and the Cahaba Valley Elks Lodge invite the public to our annual Flag Day Celebration. It will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 2 pm at the Pelham Civic Center located on 500 Amphitheater Road.

This free patriotic event will include a presentation of historical U.S. flags, recognition of all branches of the military and veterans, and opportunities to sing favorite patriotic songs.  Most importantly, it will celebrate our freedom and our Grand Old Flag.

The program of patriotic music and fanfare will feature our own local hero, Noah Galloway.  The Iraqi War veteran will speak to guests about his personal experiences and his love for our nation’s flag.  Plan to arrive early to purchase an autographed copy of his recent book, LIVING WITH NO EXCUSES.

The ever-popular singing trio, Homeland, will kick off the musical entertainment.  Their inspirational songs raise people’s spirits and make us all proud to be Americans.

Come join us for an afternoon that will celebrate our great country and Old Glory.
